Neptunus is just the dish for Taste of London 2016

Neptunus has supplied a range of temporary structures to Taste of London – the high-profile event where over 40 of the capital’s best restaurants showcase their signature dishes.

Neptunus helped organisers transform Regents Park into a foodie wonderland for five days of eating, drinking and entertainment at the world’s greatest restaurant festival.

Leading chefs took part in live cookery demonstrations and visitors were able to get hands-on with interactive masterclasses and indulge in a range of complimentary activities including champagne and food pairings and wine, whiskey and craft beer tastings.

Visitors also enjoyed a gourmet shopping experience at boutique food markets where a mouth-watering array of more than 200 food and drink purveyors, artisan producers and manufacturers offered exclusive and unique products.

A ten-strong team of Neptunus technicians took just four days to erect a range of buildings including Alu Halls, an Alure Globe and Pluto structures covering over 1,500 square metres which provided VIP Hospitality, feature areas, exhibition and reception space. The event was staged from June 15-19.

Linda Burford, Taste of London’s Operations Manager, said: “Regent’s Park is an iconic setting for Taste of London, the world’s greatest restaurant festival which attracts London’s finest restaurants. It is therefore essential that we create a really high quality temporary venue where London’s premier restaurants can demonstrate their culinary expertise.  Neptunus were able to provide us fast and efficiently with stylish temporary structures that were flexible to accommodate the range of events that Taste of London is so famous for.”
