Neptunus delivers at record–breaking event for the defence industry

From 5th to 8th September Targi Kielce was the stage for the International Defence Industry Exhibition (MSPO), known as the largest trade fair event dedicated to military equipment in Central and Eastern Europe. The temporary structures of Neptunus fit the events’ prestigious character.

The 2016's MSPO has certainly made an indelible imprint in the Kielce exhibition and congress centre’s history as it culminates in success. This year's prestigious exhibitors list has included the largest international defence companies, and among them: Lockheed Martin, Boeing, BAE Systems, Raytheon, General Dynamics, Finmeccanica, Thales, MBDA. The 24th edition had a record-breaking number of exhibitors - 614 companies - showcasing a wide range of military equipment and cutting-edge technologies to more than 22.000 visitors. These visitors included many prestigious guests, amongst others governmental representatives of over 30 countries throughout the world and Mr. Andrej Duda, the President of the Republic of Poland as well as Prime Minister Beata Szydlo and Minister of Defense Antoni Macierewicz.

As one of the leading suppliers of temporary structures throughout Europe, Neptunus was also involved by delivering temporary structures for the exhibitors of the expo. With a high sidewall of almost 4 metres, sleek lines, imposing appearance and durable, ‘green’ features, the three Alure Globes built by Neptunus fit the events’ prestigious character. The aluminum structures had transparent panels at the front and the back of the halls which allowed the daylight to come into the exhibition halls. The innovative curved roof so characteristic of the Alure Globe gave the exhibition event an even more exclusive impression. Although the temperature outside the halls was considered tropical, visitors inside the hall walked around comfortably thanks to the well-isolated and air-conditioned temporary structures of Neptunus.
