Neptunus covers international technological competition!
The city of Eindhoven hosted the Robocup this year: the world Robotics championship. After earlier editions in Japan, Australia, the US, China, Singapore and Mexico a.o. the 17th edition took place in the Netherlands. Neptunus supplied no fewer than 10,000m2 structures for this great technological show.
This summer, more than 2500 participants from over 40 countries battled it out. During the event the visitors were able to enjoy 15 exciting Robot competitions.
All competions are for robots only; which communicate wirelessly with each other. Humans are only allowed to place and remove the robots from the 'battleground'.
In addition to the different contests there were other attractions, technological stunts and activities for young and old alike like: robot football, rescue robots, humanoid robots, junior competitions, play and cuddle robots, industrial robots and lots more. Fans of robot technology attended demonstrations and various presentations by international companies.
All this took place in structures supplied by Neptunus, who have also worked with other technology companies like Philips, Agro Techniek Holland and ASML in the past.
