Neptunus builds for International Paris Air Show

The 51st edition of the International Paris Air Show took place at Le Bourget Airport from the 15th to 21st June 2015. Temporary structure specialists Neptunus created exhibition halls and hospitality totalling 8,000 square metres for the organisers and exhibitors.

The organisers of the Paris Air Show were looking for a multifunctional, temporary exhibition hall for this year’s event and ideally one with the technical characteristics and appearance of a permanent building.

A Neptunus ‘Evolution’ was the perfect solution. This type of structure is ideally suited to events like the air show as it can be constructed and removed quickly in any location with a consistent quality of finish. Insulated walls and the double-skinned, air-filled roof help to maintain a comfortable interior while reducing climate control costs and emissions. The temporary structure is also robust and can withstand wind speeds up to 120 km/h, another reason for the organisers to choose the Neptunus Evolution.

In other locations around the Airport site Neptunus built a 90 meters long entrance pavilion, service points and storage halls.  As well as providing Evolution structures for high-quality display and hospitality facilities on trade sites for companies like Bell Helicopters, Lockheed Martin, Embraer and ESA (European Space Agency); each with customized branding.

Paris Air Show takes place every two years, and celebrated its 51st edition this year with 2,215 exhibitors from more than 40 different countries and over 139,000 professionals and 176,000 visitors attending the event.
