Grand opening of relocatable MINI Showroom

Several weeks ago, a brand-new car showroom was opened in Utrecht, The Netherlands.  Built by Neptunus, the building was first used last weekend to launch the latest BMW models: the X5 and the I3. Following which the temporary structure will be turned into a MINI showroom.

Earlier this year Neptunus built a temporary ‘Alure’ structure for their client Ekris BMW.  The dealer is using the structure as temporary office space until March 2014.  Following this first successful collaboration, Ekris asked Neptunus to provide a second structure to be used as a MINI showroom.

As the anticipated requirement is for two years, Neptunus recommended their ‘Evolution’; a revolutionary relocatable structure virtually indistinguishable from a permanent building. The temporary structure is fitted out to MINI showroom standards, including a stark combination of black wall panels and glass panels to reflect the MINI brand. The 200 square metre Evolution is fitted with insulated rigid roof and wall panels.

The advantage of a relocatable building is that Ekris can enjoy all the benefits of a permanent build, without the capital cost and can decide to extend the hire beyond two years if necessary.
