An even bigger masterpiece from Neptunus

Neptunus went undercover last month to provide a landmark temporary structure for Masterpiece London in the South Grounds of the Royal Hospital Chelsea.

Wrapped in a giant print that mirrors its historic setting, three of Neptunus’ Evolution structures were joined together to form almost 13,000 sq m of high quality space for the exhibition halls and several dining areas.

Internationally renowned collectors, exhibitors and curators came together for the weeklong event showcasing fine art, antiques and design from across the world.

For the fourth consecutive year Neptunus was selected to construct the impressive venue, which was completed in less than two weeks – three days ahead of schedule.

Neptunus also supplied and installed a reinforced floor to withstand the weight of all the exhibits, which included a Riva boat and a 5.5 T stone water sculpture. Opaque roof skins were also used to form a darkened interior that was perfect for creating ambience and showcasing illuminated objects.

“We were delighted to be working with Neptunus again for this year’s show as they understand our requirements for this prestigious event,” said Masterpiece London fair director, Nicola Winwood. “The structure created the illusion of a permanent building, which also provided stylish and comfortable surroundings for guests and a secure environment for exhibits.”
