'God of the sea' joins the new location of HISWA te Water

‘HISWA te Water’, the largest in-water boat show in Northern Europe celebrates its 35th anniversary this year. The jubilee edition of the event takes place at its new location in Lelystad for the first time. From 5 to 9 September, the Bataviahaven will be transformed into the ultimate paradise for water sports enthusiasts. Neptunus, specialist in demountable buildings, traditionally provides all temporary accommodations for the popular water sports event.

Brand new location
‘HISWA te Water’, which has been held annually in Amsterdam since 2012, is moving to a larger location in Lelystad. "We’d like to expand and Bataviahaven in Lelystad is extremely suitable for this. The central location, the good accessibility over the water and the unlimited space for placing temporary accommodations are an important reason to take this step now", according to Arjen Rahusen CEO of ‘HISWA te Water’.

Temporary accommodations
Of course, 'God of the Sea' is moving to the new location of HISWA te Water. The specialist in temporary buildings and event structures provides various temporary accommodations for HISWA in Water, including her unique arched Alure Globe that serves as the entrance to the in-water boat show. In addition, more than 70 pavilions will be built on the arena-shaped quay for exhibitors. The entrance hall, pagoda tents and other accommodations of Neptunus offer stylish accommodation and contribute to the appearance of the atmospheric water sports event. "We are very proud of the long and intensive cooperation with HISWA te Water," tells Dorrie Eilers, director of Neptunus. "Neptunus has grown along with the fair over the years. Like HISWA, we also look at opportunities every year of innovation in our constructions and the offer, so that we can continue to amaze the customer and the guests ".

Experience is the key word
For sure, every water sports fan will be enormously enthusiastic about what lies at the jetties of the Bataviahaven. From sloop to motor yacht, from daysailer to sailing yachts for world travelers. With more 250 new boats, 150 exhibitors and a richly filled activity program, it promises to be one big party for public and exhibitors. "We will surprise you, even if you are not looking for a boat or water sport product. There is plenty to do at HISWA te Water. New this year is the test sailing, which is possible thanks to the new location at the Markermeer. Wat the program exactly will look like, we will keep a secret" tells Rahusen.
