Neptunus is an international specialist in the design, manufacture and rental of high quality temporary structures for events and temporary buildings for business.  We are pleased to announce that we are looking to expand our team and have the following vacancy based at our UK office in Swan Valley, Northampton.

Logistics Co-ordinator

As a logistics co-ordinator for Neptunus you are an important link between operations and logistics. You work for interesting events such as Frieze Arts Fairs and The ATP cinch Tennis Tournament, but also on interesting semi permanent projects which could include temporary sports halls and film studios to car show rooms and lecture halls.

The role will include coordination of maintenance of our vehicles, ordering supplies for the Logistics Office and reactive booking for repairs, re stocking and maintenance of all project specific equipment on site.  You will work in team supporting the Logistics Manager and Operations manager as well as handling a fast paced environment.

Job specifications:

  • Support Logistics manager in maintenance of driver and vehicle records and co-ordinate maintenance and servicing of Logistics vehicles, including Neptunus owned plant & machinery.
  • Sourcing, ordering & stock control of PPE, management of PPE equipment issued to site teams.
  • Attend ad hoc meetings as required to support the Operations department.
  • Check invoices for accuracy against PO & planning in partnership with wider Operations team and resolve any anomalies or errors with supplier.
  • Manage all requirements for formal personnel accreditation as required by projects throughout the year.
  • Assist with access to sites for plant and machinery deliveries, suppliers, staff and guests.
  • Assist with recruitment for logistics operatives including maintaining and issuing paperwork.

You are:

  • Independent, flexible, cost conscious and enterprising and able to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication skills (in word and writing).
  • Practical and work well in a team setting.
