The Dutch National top sport centre Papendal, the central training location for the Netherlands Olympic Committee and the Netherlands Sports Federation offers top athletes every facility they need for optimal training.

At the beginning of 2009, a long-term cooperation with Neptunus began in line with NOC*NSF's growth objectives.
One of the results is the creation of a semi-permanent sprint hall. To provide athletes with perfect facilities to train for running, jumping and throwing events all year round and under all weather conditions, Neptunus designed and built an indoor athletics hall completely geared to these sports, including a special athletics floor. The width of the hall is 10 metres and the length is 130 metres. This is unique.

The athletics hall has also been ingeniously equipped; a long jump pit was included in the track, automatic nets were integrated for throwing events and an area for strength sports was connected to the sprint hall. All this has been done to make it easy for top athletes to combine various forms of training. One athlete who uses the hall frequently said: 
"It's really great to be able to train under these ideal circumstances and prepare for competitions optimally. It is a temporary sports hall, but you would never notice".

Neptunus is an international specialist in designing and supplying temporary, semi-permanent buildings. Thanks to the large free span of up to 60 metres, an unlimited length and a height of 5 to 13 metres, Neptunus can build tailor-made solutions entirely according to their client’s wishes.  Due to the modular character, the buildings can be erected extremely quickly and flexibly and can also be dismantled completely.
