Two semi-permanent training facilities at Papendal sports centre
At the National Sports Centre Papendal in the Netherlands, Neptunus again constructed two semi-permanent training halls. On behalf of the NOC*NSF (Dutch Olympic Committee) Neptunus supplied two Evolution halls. The addition of these halls means an immense increase in the training capacity.
One Evolution measuring 25x45 metres is being used as a volleyball- and badminton hall. Especially for this purpose, the interior of the hall was fitted with green walls. Another Evolution measuring 10x35 metres will be used as a fencing arena. The unique Evolution, designed and developed by Neptunus, is ideal for long term applications; the halls at Papendal have been rented for a period of five years.
