Louis Vuitton - Formidable (Fashion) house
Paris; City of love…. and fashion, or at least during the Paris Fashion Week. Neptunus created a prestigious “fashion house” for, amongst others, Louis Vuitton.
The Paris Fashion week took place between 30 September and 7 October. Neptunus provided accommodation in sites around the centre of the city in the various locations where the fashion shows found took place.
Neptunus built a Penthouse double-decker structure in the ‘Jardin des Tuileries´ that provided an area of approx 2,200 m² housing showrooms for various designers.
A temporary structure was erected at the Cour Carrée du Louvre for the summer collection Prêt-à-Porter 2010 Show by Louis Vuitton. “The client decided on a temporary building at this historical location, which soaked up the atmosphere of the surrounding area and complimented the trade mark experience of the renowned brand. “The ‘Evolution’ blended in perfectly with the surroundings”, said Dorrie Eilers, CEO of Neptunus. “The additional benefits of the Evolution, including the short construction time and the large clear span, made this product was perfect for the job.”
The flexibility of the Evolution was applied very cleverly as a few days later, this hall was used for Fiac, an international modern art fair. After the Louis Vuitton show, the Evolution structure at the Cour Carrée was lowered from 10 metres high to 8 metres to be used for the art fair.
