Neptunus structures for Philips in Moscow
Neptunus, which specializes in the development and rental of tents and temporary accommodations, recently supplied the setting for one of Philips’ most important brand events. Neptunus filled Moscow’s Red Square with Evolution and Alure structures for Philips’ The Simplicity Event in Moscow.  For the event, Neptunus built a number of connected 'Evolutions’ and a 'Alure’ tent, in the centre of Red Square in Moscow, with a total surface area of approx. 7,000 sq.m.42 trucks were required to transport the materials from the Netherlands, after which a team of 25 technicians built the accommodations in only seven days’ time. The square’s incline represented an additional challenge, requiring the accommodations to be placed at different levels and to be equipped with a scaffolding base of up to five metres in height. Philips opted in favour of Neptunus due to its years of experience and knowledge. The unique properties of the Evolution, a revolutionary semi-permanent building and the style of the accommodations tied in perfectly with the event goal. The Simplicity Event is an annual closed brand event, which emphasizes Philips’ brand promise: Sense & Simplicity. During the 2008 edition, which took place from 15 up to and including 17 October in Moscow’s Red Square, the newest technology in the field of consumer electronics and b2b application were presented in an unusual and smashing manner to the media and approx. 1,200 stakeholders.
