iShares Cup sailing race descended on Hyères (France) between 3 and 5 July. Neptunus, the international specialist in developing and building tents and temporary accommodation, provided the pavilions for the sailing event.

The third edition of the iShares Cup set out from the North Italian city of Venice on 15 May and will visit five other European top locations this summer.
The iShares Cup is organised by OC Events. For OC Events and SLS Group Neptunus travels to the five European coastal locations. For every iShare Cup location Netpunus builds a temporary hospitality village, consisting of a Penthouse, alu hall and pavilion tents to welcome VIPs and press.

Forty of the world’s best sailors spread over ten teams who compete against each other in “Extreme 40” catamarans take part in the iShares Cup. During these spectacular sailing races the catamarans sail very close to the shore allowing the audience to get a good view of the speed and sensation of it. The participants to the iShares Cup together account for many championships, 27 America’s Cup campaigns, 14 Olympic participations and many thousands of nautical miles in offshore sailing races such as the Volvo Ocean Race.

After Hyères the event goes to Cowes (UK) and Kiel (Germany) in August, in September to Amsterdam and the last race will take place in Almeria (Spain) in October.
